Although our understanding of the mind and all its manifestations has increased
greatly over the past hundred years, we still have an enormous amount to learn, and understand.
In particular, I would like to see an increase in understanding of how
our minds can be affected by our bodily states. For instance, in chronic health conditions, depression often accompanies
all the other unpleasant symptoms.
And depression has become a modern plague.
Depression is intimately connected with a state of depletion of liver function,
and you will quickly find that paying attention to improved liver function, will result in a lifting of your depression.
Liver depletion is eased by drinking herb teas such as rosemary, and eyebright,
taking green foods like wheatgrass juice, using plentiful fresh herbs like nasturtium leaves, borage and sage, in fresh salads
from early summer through to the darker days of winter.
Green tea specifically lifts the liver. As does taking a cup of hot water
with the juice of half a fresh organic lemon, first thing in the morning.
Plenty of rest and deep relaxation will help the liver to catch up on any
detoxification work you have been too busy or pre-occupied to allow it to complete.
Working on your relationship with your Soul, or 'Higher Self', through
meditation, Yoga, or Chi Gung, will draw your subtle energy field into an alignment with fields of vibration that nourish
and uplift your mind, clarifying your dreams and inspiring you with hope and positive intention.
Although the state of your mind will influence all the cells
in your body, I believe that at this time of the planet we need to address our physical states first in order to help
our minds to be lighter in vision.

Candace Pert wrote the book 'Molecules of Emotion', that gives the scientific
networks through which the mind and body interact with each other.
The work of Ulli Springett teaches how to use mental symbols and images
to help heal ourselves. Very accessible and lovely.
